Ship Sticks is a company of golfers, for golfers. We had experienced firsthand the hassles involved with transporting clubs. So we got together with the idea of solving that problem—­and we did.

Ship Sticks LLC (Delaware Limited Liability Company), founded in 2011, is based in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Mission

The mission of Ship Sticks is to provide value-added services to the golf industry, creating a win/win environment for all who participate. It is our intention to make golf travel easier and more affordable, thus increasing the number of participants and rounds played annually.

Nicholas A. Coleman

Founder / CEO, Handicap: 5

Mr. Coleman started his career in finance working for Bear Stearns & Co, Inc. He later established his pattern as an entrepreneur by starting an Internet gaming company. His second gaming company, Game Trust, was acquired by Real Networks after five years. Mr. Coleman then lent his talents again to the world of finance and money management, before launching his own hedge fund, Intracoastal Capital Management, which is based in Palm Beach, Florida, and is currently operating. Mr. Coleman is a graduate of Providence College.

Jonathan A. Marsico

Founder / President, Handicap: +4

Mr. Marsico assists in running Marsico Enterprises LLC, a family owned and operated private investment business located in Denver. Mr. Marsico is also a highly-accomplished amateur golfer who won the Colorado State Amateur title in 2008. Mr. Marsico travels several times a month to participate in numerous amateur, USGA and international golf events, and thus is very cognizant of the need for a reliable system for ensuring that clubs arrive at the correct destination on time.

Steve Wilson

Chief Operating Officer, Handicap: 8

Mr. Wilson has held director and officer positions with major resorts and Fortune 500 companies. He worked for the Walt Disney Company for 22 years, holding several management positions including Director of Golf & Tennis. Later, Mr. Wilson worked for the World Golf Foundation, serving as VPO for the World Golf Hall of Fame and World Golf Village. He also held the position of Executive Director of the World Golf Championships World Cup, while employed by the PGA Tour. For the past seven years, Mr. Wilson worked for WCI Communities, serving as Regional General Manager and COO for the last three. In this position, he was responsible for day-to-day operations at Parkland Golf Club and Old Palm Golf Club. Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Ball State University.

Ben Hayes

Director of West Coast Sales, Handicap: +2.6

Mr. Hayes’ involvement with golf began with a competitive playing career at a young age. Later, he was captain of the golf team at the University of Southern California. Upon graduation, Mr. Hayes turned professional and competed in events on all the major tours around the world, including the 2008 U.S. Open. Following an exit from competition, Ben gained professional experience in sales and business development. Through opportunities in commercial real estate and insurance, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of developing and executing a sales strategy.

Paul Crespo, PGA

Director of Sales & CSR, International Specialist, Handicap: +2

Mr. Crespo enjoyed success playing as a professional golfer on the Ben Hogan Tour, Tommy Armour Tour and the Moonlight tour before transitioning to his role as a PGA Golf Professional. Mr. Crespo brings over 15 years experience as a golf professional at private golf clubs. Mr. Crespo was First Assistant at The Polo Club of Boca Raton for 5 years. He then held the position as PGA Head Professional of Parkland Golf Club, were Mr. Crespo excelled in member service and earned numerous 5 Star Service awards for his outstanding performance. He was also honored as being A Mentor for the Company's Golf Professionals.

Brian Dauer, PGA

Associate

Brian attended Methodist University where he received a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Professional Golf Management. He was elected as a Class A PGA Professional at the age of 22 and has thrived in the golf business. Brian brings eight years of private club experience to Ship Sticks, most recently serving as a PGA Professional at The Country Club of Rochester in Rochester, NY and Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound, FL. Brian brings the highest level of customer service experience to the Ship Sticks team.

Justin Farley

Associate

Mr. Farley has had a diverse set of professional experiences. He worked several years as an entrepreneur in the Internet Industry and helped Mr. Coleman build Game Trust into a successful venture. He spent 6 years with Credit Suisse in Sales & Trading positions, and now has returned to his entrepreneurial roots to help build Ship Sticks into a world class company. Mr. Farley enjoys golf, cycling, and tennis and is a graduate of Providence College.
